We are gaining a deeper understanding into the tremendous power, and risks of personal data.

The first generation of companies gathered all the data they could, using AAA (Artifically Intelligent, Algorithmic & Autonomous) Systems to prolong the users engagement, and monitize that data to the greatest extent possible.

The problem arose when children's data was used and kids were placed into harms way.

The intention of this page is to inspire investors, venture capitalists, and gaming companies to use the great competitve advantage that exists in aligning one's organization to current and pending children's data protection and privacy laws.

I will highlight work in Age-Assurance so developers, studios, gaming companies can assess and create auditable assurance that the users are of an appropriate age to use the service. I will lead with examples of what can be done better, and I will shine the light into the shadows of those of use nudges, dark patterns, and deceptive means to further the engagement of child users to the detriment of their well-being.

I fully support the role of parents in monitoring and watching what their children see and do in these on-line worlds, but to date, there are organizations who have used deceptive practices to hide the true nature and intention of their actions.
